Manifesto
My name is Nelson okoh, okoh, a Medical Doctor from Nigeria; I’m running for the position of Part-time student officer in the upcoming elections. As a part-time student doing his postgraduate studies in the university, I have seen the difficulty and the feeling of exclusion from live events and social interaction from those on-site. I have been in leadership positions and was once the president of a fellowship of medical students during my undergraduate studies, with several leadership roles as a medical practitioner, I believe these experiences and skills learnt during this time will give me an edge as a candidate.
If elected, I will try in my capacity and with the help of my team to unite the distant learning students (part-time) bringing them close and mitigating the sense of exclusion from the larger body in this era of social media. Secondly, work with the student union to be a voice for the part-time students in the university.
Thank you for reading my manifesto and I'm open to questions.
