Our biggest event of the year is taking place on the 13th May 2022 at Trinity Park, Ipswich.

Tickets are open to current students and thanks to a contribution from the University, Class of 2020 and 2021 will also be able to attend and celebrate their achievements.UOS staff and plus ones are welcome to Summer Ball 2022 too!

Two course dinner. A highly acclaimed menu, prepared by Trinity Park's experienced chefs. You will be asked to fill in a form with your dietary requirements closer to the time.

The small print your might find boring but you need to read:

Student ID and proof of purchase /email confirmation will be required to gain access. (If you buy a ticket on one of our pop up events you will receive your email within a few days)
You can buy up to 2 tickets (for yourself and for 1 non-student friend). Please note that you must purchase the Guest ticket for your non-student guest(plus one) at the price of £50.
Your guest must be over the age of 18 and have proof of ID with them at the event.
Please only buy tickets for yourselves and 1 other non-student guest, do not purchase tickets for other students.
2020 and 2021 alumni can get Alumni tickets at £45 by registering for a guest account on our website OR by attending one of our pop-up events around campus where we will be selling tickets accepting card payment. Dates and times for these will be announced soon.
UOS staff can get staff tickets at £45 by registering for a guest account on our website OR by attending one of our pop-up events around campus where we will be selling tickets accepting card payment. Dates and times for these will be announced soon.
No refunds are available once a ticket has been purchased. If for any reason you are unable to attend, you must not resell your ticket for greater than its face value. We are also unable to help facilitate any re-sales. If you re-sell your ticket, please inform us immediately, we need this information for the seating plan and for the dietary requirements of the attendees.

Closer to the time, you will be emailed a form which you need to fill out, stating:

your dietary requirements
whether you prefer an alcoholic or a non-alcoholic drink
any disabilities/adjustments we need to be aware of
seating plan preferences (we cannot guarantee that everyone will sit with their friends, but we will do our absolute best!)
