Has university at all interrupted your passion for music?
We’re here to fill that void.
Our aim is to provide and deliver the opportunity to explore the practice of music in all forms to you. We have a very hands-on and active committee that are working hard all the time to ensure that you have access to instruments, are able to practice in a safe environment; we are constantly working towards other events and opportunities such as external gigs and studio recordings.
We understand that moving across the country and having to leave your instruments behind can be difficult, whether you can’t fit your drum kit in your student accommodation, or you've received noise complaints for playing too loud, we are the solution. We also want to introduce the excitement and share our passion for music with less experienced musicians and other societies. None of us our qualified tutors by any means but all levels of ability are welcome to join.
The Society is a safe space for all with the shared passion of performing music and further opportunities will be worked towards with your help. We will maintain existing relationships and forge further connections with the local music community to offer everything we can to you.
We want to help.
Tell us how.
